It looks like the base commanders son just got a new ME-163 pedal car for the Love Adolf Parade.

I'm not to old to remember tin pedal fire trucks, cars and planes with spinning propellers.

That's kinda twisted in a super cool way.

Maybe the Base commander is inspecting a 1/2 scale model of his personnal Me-163 that the techo's have constrcted for him .

or, more ominously - is this the first evidence of an alliance between the Nazis and the Hobbits   ?!

I did some work to the hanger and needed to take some test pictures of my work and thought I would try and mix different scales in a couple pictures just for the fun of it. In this case it was a 1/100 scale Tamiya Me 163 and some 1/48 scale Luftwaffe figures.
Wonder how the HS crowd would react to this?

Just a question: could you tell us (or imagine) a story to explain why there is a canopy on this 1/2 scale model?

Glad you guys liked the pics, the others I shot that day were just too strange so I deleted them but now I wish had them so you could see some of the ''out takes''.
My original ''experiment'' with photographing the hanger did not work very well so the mixed scale pics was not planned at all but something I thought I would try before it was time to start putting things away.

I will be building some 1/144 and 1/100 scale models soon to be used in the background of my pictures and may try the ''mixed scales'' effect at a later time just for the heck of it.

Last month on Hyperscale someone posted some pictures of some 1/144 scale Luft 46 models from a company called Popey (Poppy?) and they looked really good, I don't know if they were pre-built or kits but if they are kits I would buy some of them.
I already have the 1/144 scale Eduard Ju 52 and Fw 190F-8 kits and they are better than I expected them to be, the Ju 52 kit even comes with canopy masks!
I have ordered more Fw 190 and Bf 109G kits and they should look pretty good when placed in the background of my photobase pictures.
Painting those things will be interesting, I never thought about doing mottling camouflage in such a small scale!

Maybe I better not post these on HS, with that crowd some people will like the joke and others (JMN types) might not understand the idea of having fun taking pictures of some models and freak out.
