Hi folks,

This one isn't much of a whiff - though, I didn't select any particular real world subject to accurately model, so it could be classified as one.  Anyway, enjoy - my appologies for the poor quality pics (might re-shoot later):

Greg,

Just a few hours ago I watched a television show about the battle for Berlin and your model looks like some of those war weary tanks I had seen. Great job!

Sisko, you must love it to post twice! :)  I agree, that looks like a tank that has been around the block a time or two...great job!

Sisko, thanks - though I'm not exactly a ground pounder - I'm an ex-RAAF boy :D .

I love intense weathering.
What did you use to cake on the "mud" etc.?

Looks absolutely realistic.

John,

Thanks - I wanted that "War Weary", real look.  I'm not really a fan of vehicles, especially tanks that look as though they've come straight off the factory floor (unless of course that is the scenario/look you are trying for).  In my view, any that had seen real combat for months/years on end are going to be a absolute mess - which is what I was trying for.  As for the mud etc - the three 'P's i.e. Putty, Paint and Patience.

regards,

Greg
