Hey !

Anybody else use spent casings for little dies ? You use them to punch out round things....different calibres for different sizes.

Just be sure that the primer isn't there !

Hi' Toad,
use them all the time and I've even used .22 mag cases for the outside of the 4-shot rocket tubes, just file off the base and fit the front and rear of the 5" rocket inside it.  ;)

All the best

During the BoB my grandad made a model Spitfire from spent shell casings which he melted down.  It is totally awesome.  Sadly when he died my alcoholic uncle  managed to get his hands on it before me    :(

It would be my most treasured possesion if I had it...  :(

Aside from removing the primers make sure that you clean out the casings properly, as gunpowder residue is poisonous.

Aw, no worries ! Nothing more poisonous than all the paints, primers, putties and glues that we all use !
