I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Quite a gorgeous bit of modelling, that.  My only concern is that it may need some careful handling on launch as the upper boosters look like they'd want to nose it over into the ground.

That's not a problem, the SOP on launch is to roll inverted as soon as you're clear of the launch rail...  :o

Also, big up (as the kids say) to Shasper for coming up with the idea.

Thanks for all the kind comments... :D

Eh, maybe.  I've spent enough time going through the numbers for aligning just two boosters for a ground-launched air-breather to really want to do four; I'd much rather just have two larger ones below the aircraft with canted nozzles sending the thrust vector of both boosters through the combined vehicular CG; but that's real life getting in the way of whif (and the boosters I'm talking about were 10 foot-long sections of 6-inch diamater heavy wall pipe filled with modern solid fuel and fitted with a carefully designed nozzle.  Two of these would accelerate a certain missile (yes, TSRJoe, the ground-launched version of that one) from standing still to Mach .4 in under 10 seconds.
