A couple of months ago, I was looking at the screen, when I glanced at the three models sitting on top. They are all Playing Mantis Star Trek models, the Enterprise NX-1 the Enterprise NCC 1701, and in the centre, a Romulan 'Bird of Prey'. Now, you know I'm mad, but what I did with a second Bird..............well, you be the judge!

Scale ?
Model, Vought 1 Naval X fighter, actually, the production of the 'Flying Pancake'

Glenn,
You are crazy.

That's why you fit in so well here.

Neato BTW. I love the concept. Looks like it fell off a 1940's era Popular Mechanics predictions page.

This looks funny, weird, but I have problems "reading" what I see... While the port wing seems horizontal, ended by the engine/propeller, the starboard propeller holding device seems... different. Could you post a view from front (if asymmetrical) or from above (if forward swept) to help me understanding (and appreciating even further)? Thanks dear Glenn! :)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Hobbes

Tophe: the front view is something like this: \_/, so the propellers are a lot higher than the fuselage.

BlackOps

Completely bonkers I tell ya....that's why I like it :)

Nice - kinda looks like the offspring of a mating between the Vought Pancake and one of these BMW birds:
