In 2000, Belgium started looking for a fighterjet to replace the Viggen. in 2002, the list was cut down to 3 aircraft: the F-16XL, Eurofighter and the F-15smt, of witch the f-15 won the competition.

Belgium became the launch customer for this version of the eagle, and the first european customer for the F-15. in november 2003, the first of 24 eagles were delivered to 25 squadron "the black widows" in Oostende. with this aircraft, new weapons were introduced with the SMT, such as the exocet ASM. in 2005, cutbacks in the budjet meant that 1 off the 2 eagle squadrons had to be disbanned, and 9 squadron siezed operations in june 2005. the remaining 12 F-15's from 25 squadron underwent the ESEP (Eagle Service Enhancement Program).

this upgrade meant that the aircraft could now use most european made arms such as the Mica, Meteor, Scalp,... all aircraft are serialed FE-01 to FE-24, the aircraft below is FE-18.

the model is armed with 4 AIM-9's, 4 AIM-7P's, 2 exocets and an ALQ-131 jamming pod, the canards are spare tailplanes from a heller F-8E kit, and the IRST is scratchbuild from spares.

oops, i forgot to mention that next to the viggen, that they also opperated 4 squadrons of Rafale-C/B's (48 delivered, the viggen was used for long range patrols) witch replace the F-104GS (sabca modernised starfighter) in 2001

Hey! The CF-100 is lovely! This is real world of course :)
What about a CF-105 in Belgian service?
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
