Couldn't add to my original thread for some reason?

Anyway, here's some pics of the final product! It's not as 'perfect' as I would have liked and I don't think I've done my little girls's paint job much justice. Frustratingly, I had to finish her today as I need to vacate my den so Wifey can redecorate!

Obviously, my next project has to be a CorCat!   B)

SaaaWeeet!

Looks purposeful, and mean. You know, in one of the shots from the sorta front side, she has a real Japanese look to the thing. The prop hub and the big motor just reminded me of some of the late war stuff outta Japan.

I agree with Gary, that thing has to be a Japanese late-war-er. C'mon, it's not too late to slap on some Hinomarus!

Great work, and my heartiest congrats to your daughter on her paintjob. Superb!!!

Man, I hate it when I really want an example of something but don't have the guts nor skills to make one....

I was thinking the same thing, earlier, but SWMBO wanted to go downtown. That cowling has a definite " George " look to it.

Thanks peeps!

Actually, putting the cowling on 'upside down' was a mistake initially, then  having had a closer look, I decided it just looked kind of right like that so on went the liquid poly!

Once my den is finished, the 'CorCat' will be underway!

I have to say that I love this bird!  B) Very pleasing to the eye and I absolutely dig the paint scheme. Outstanding work!

From his 'blue period' no doubt...... Very brave camo, sir, not sure that I like it (perhaps I'm a wee bit conservative with a small 'c'), but it can never be ignored ! ;)

My 10 year old Daughter painted the camouflage, I told her to do what she wanted with it!  :P

Very nice, but it looks japanese    :P

Thanks for the additional pics, seavixen! I really like the prop spinner and upside-down cowling....makes this one look built for speed!

Your daughter is only 10 and paints better than I do?

That's it, I'm headed over to "macrame.com" now...gotta find another hobby...
