Yes Dragon thanks, and all is clear (thanks also to Google and the Naval Fighters book 21 at http://www.mozeyoninn.com/Ginter/NAVAL/NF21.htm )
Have a nice breakfast! (it is Sunday 9am now on my side of the Earth)...

Tophe this has got to be your best yet! Absolutely the best presentation I've seen of this venerable aircraft! Bon Apeti`t!

Pass the syrup, please...

Sugar breakfast time is past for long, now it's salty dinner. With vegetables, eating spinach...  or an airplane flying over the forest?  Maybe I should take aspirin as diner... :(

PS. I have posted the additional twin-pancake F5U-55 on the twin-tail forum at http://www.whatifmodelers.com/forum//index...=0&#entry149193

Alors celui la il est génial...!!! Bloody well done, Tophe! You're the king of asymetric aircrafts!!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Tophe

You make my cheeks turn red Archie...
As far as I am concerned, I don't feel as a king, just as an innocent childish modeller that had stopped this hobby in the 1990s and shily come back... I am very far from the skills that many masters here have. But I have fun, simply, in my way (twin-tail, asymmetry, shapes without details nor guns nor nationality).
I would be happy if I had scratch-building ability as yours Archie...

Pretty neat...

BTW If the aircraft was French, would it have been known as "French Toast"?

And don't ask me about saying the name -- I might say "FRying Pancake" or "FLench Toast" (actually I don't really transpose "L"s and "R"s -- though I might sometimes use a sound that's halfway between, so it ends up sounding like I transpose them)

Thanks Nev! Have you seen that with this blue/white plate, the whole looks like a RAF/RCAF/RAAF roundel...?

"French toast" sounds as foreign words, we do not say that toasts are French here in France... Like French fries are supposed here to be a Belgian (nice!) recipe...
For R and L prononciation, I have loved to see Elvis written in Japanese signs for Erubisu... And for the Martin LARA twin-boom project, do you use as well LALA and RARA? funny... But I do not mean at all that our Latin alphabet is the right way: I am learning Ilongo (Filipino) and my prononciation is often ridiculous, because I do not see the difference for sounds that my wife judges completely different (Baka/Bakâ, Bata/Batâ)...
