Pics of my new work area

Well, the month long moving imposed sabbatical from building is over, and my work area is much, much larger.

Here's a few pics of it.  It's now located in the basement, in a semi-permanent location.  I used to work off of a box top on a TV tray that was easy to put away when showing the house.  This is actually my old computer desk that I don't need anymore.  Works great!

And here's a closeup of what's on the bench right now.  Most of the stuff went into storage unfinished about a month or so ago, while there's a few things that have been under construction for a while that I just haven't gotten back to until now.  This includes the oribital fighter F-23 (with OMS engines) that I've had under construction for 4 years, the mutant Sonic Cruiser-ish thing, and a X-32/F-23 hybrid that is in a state of flux (does this look right?  No.  Does this look right?  Almost...)

I didn't need the computer desk anymore, as I've got this, which doubles as a TV and computer monitor now:  It's a 27" Samsung LCD-TV.

And this last pic shows my stash, which is somewhere in these pile o' boxes.

Just wanted to show off, no other reason

Good on ya!  What's with the dissimilar wall-strip to the left of the window frame, though?  Aftermarket parts in the basement?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Builder screwed up, poured the cement for glass block windows in the basement instead of daylight windows.  His fix is behind the panel.

That LCD replaced a big honkin 21" monitor, which can be seen in the pic of the stash (towards the bottom of the pic).

I was kind of worried by the unnatural tidiness of your modelling area, but the last pic of your stash area has resored my faith in modellers!

Okay, that YF-23 Orbital Fighter is eerily similar to something I have in my partly-built pile. When I get it unpacked I'll show y'all...

Nice, big space, Anthony! Are you still relatively close to here?

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Hey, Jeremy!

Sent ya a PM a few weeks back, not sure if ya got it or not.  I was beginning to wonder where you'd gotten off to.

Actually, I'm closer than I was before.  Remember I mentioned I was going to move up to Washington last year?  Well, I did, and am now about 15 minutes south of I-69 (which puts me another half hour away from either Flint or Port Huron).

That YF-23 Space fighter I did using the pods from one of Hasegawa's Macross VT-1's.  They fit almost perfectly in the engine bays.  I think I started it about four years ago, towards the tail end of when I was into building Hasegawa Macross VF-1's.  The paint-scheme was the second type of orbital paint scheme I'd applied to the YF-23.  You can kind of make out the other on  the nose of the X-32/F-23 hybrid.  I had some backstory involving the sci-fi series Farscape, which I've since forgotten.

Speaking of the X-32/F-23 hyhbrid, I've reworked it a bit.  It won't be done for some time.

Oh, and Comrade Jeremy, your sig had me bursting out with laughter when I clicked the link.
