A new resin conversion kit

for the last 6 months or so Ive been working with a few of the guys on here to get into the resin casting game.

the first offering made its debuet at telford.
The Hawker Siddley P1127 Tuning fork conversion trainer project.
The master was made by our own Rodger the cabin boy.

A bit of back ground on the subject.
The tuning fork was the original proposal for a training vershion of the P1127 VTOL aircraft, this was before they cottoned on that tandem seating was a better bet. I belive this project got as far as basic engineering drawings before they went down the more conventional route.

with the help of some filler it turns out looking a bit like this.


Now the money talk.
Ive priced this up at £10 a go plus any postage costs.
I sold several at Telford so numbers are limited untill I can get some more resin delivered.
For those in the SIG who have already been aware of this for a while now, and are after an example, theve already been catered for.

I bought the Tuning fork, one very ugle plane but the castings pretty good. Recomended (bit more interesting than a regular harrier....)

Brad, phils got a tuning fork for u mate, as for a 1216, fraid u will have to hang on old son, ive not got any of the prototype batch left.

Hmm.. one tuning fork built "stock" & one crossed with a first-generation Harrier; I wonder if it'd work with a second generation Harrier?

I've got one P.126 on order and I'l likely be wanting more of those gorgeous things.

Thanks for the head's up Martin!  Methinks my Tuning Fork will be in USMC markings for next year's Viff Whif* with the HARSIG.

Scooterman's tuning forks are now held here pending arrival of a written contract / promissory note that he will be here in person for the 07 Nats as part of a 'geek week'.   Air museums, model shops, that sort of thing.

I love this Twin-nose Harrier , truly I do... though I have so many kits remaining to build that I will not order one more, sorry.
