Radish

Ask the chappies in the store. They're very knowledgeable.
Some of the figures are metal, but I use the straight forward plastic ones that ARE plastic, not soft stuff that Airfix, etc., use.
They scale out around 1/48th.
The Zombie figures are super....and I've got some medieval-type infantry for Crusaders.
They're good to build, lots of good detail, and their website has good hints as well.

Go for it!!
Their paints are fantastic!

QuoteScience fiction, by definition, is a mix of fantasy and possibility, which fits the What-if principle, I guess. :)
As far as I am concerned, I seldom love science fiction craft because in outer-space, without air, there is no need of aerodynamic (pretty) shapes... A rocket and a satellite do not please me much :( , far less than a Mustang or Mirage.
Ahhh, but they're not all bland rockets and satellites, mon ami!

I give you the genius of Gabriel Koerner, CGI artiste encroyable:

Hammerhead from SPACE: Above and Beyond....

Some GREAT designs out there.  A fantastic ship is a fantastic ship, whether it's an aeroplane, naval vessel or spaceship!   -_-

Too right.

I Whiffed the Alien figure from the film as Kevin the Albino Alien which many found fun, especially when he crapped Twiglets

Have a look at this site - http://manconquersspace.com/ - not exactly SF as its based on the old Von Braun designs, but definitely whiff :D

Murphy's 2nd Law - An object in motion will be going in the wrong direction
Murphy's 3rd Law - For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction

All this has got me thinking, a dangerous thing I know which my therapist has told me to avoid at all costs, and also hugely inspired by this article and Gregs Battlemech. Interested in building a Sci-Fi model. Now I'm not a big Sci-Fi buff, but I do like the idea of building something completely scratchbuilt, using alot of household items, with no base kit to start from..
Anyone with me? Possible group build? Have to give this one a long time frame but I see it as great exercise in imagination and developing modelling skills.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

BlackOps

I'm using plastic egg-carton bits for the thrusters on mine.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
