Folks,

I just spied this one over on the ARC site:

Hawker Hunter in "US" colors

Tim Soetaert worked this one up from a Matchbox T.7 kit and did it up in the same livery as the Hunter used in a music video.  So that makes it sorta a what if, right?

Anyway, the bird looks mighty fine as he rendered it in a bare metal finish.  That's what I think all airplanes look best in.  Even those formerly dull green and brown ones you Brits seem to love so much!

I love that video, but they cut out the stuff that creates a lot of the emotional impact: the nuclear test video, the little girl, the Eisenhower quote, etc.  It's nice to see a model of that particular airplane, though.
