Oh, my!!  And it looks like it's designed to allow, with a few extra sprues, 'most all of the other Chinook variants.  Lots of legs for this basic mold.

I've been sending info to Squadron in an attempt to convince them that this kit IS coming out (they had no idea, apparently).

Looks great.

So much easier to manage than Trumpeter's 1:35 monster!   :wub:

There's a review of the Trumpeter kit in the current IPMS(UK) mag by a chap who's worked on RAF Chinnoks for years and years.
He says the Trumpeter kit is great, except for a couple of things, but a real NO GO for conversion to the RAF.
When the article was written, the Italeri 1/48th Chinook was announced but not out. However, he did say that if it was merely an update of the Italeri 1/72nd kit then forget it as the smaller model is apparantly hopeless. :lol:
