Since Airfix/Heller may be gone,

Suggested guidelines:

Idea generation principally, intended to someday build--

Any kit moulded by Heller or Airfix at any time during their existance--

and

Skills found in your own home--

For instance:

1/72 RA-5C Vigilante done as a Vigilante PR.9 in British Sand and those trippy light pink and blue roundels

1/72 Sunderland used in the roll of the AC-130 gunships in Vietnam except in US Army markings for the Vietnam Brown Water War.  Green/Green/Tan/Black

1/48 Heller Mirage III redone with Kfir canards, rescribed, some Yank-made ejection seat if possible, and permanently attached to the USAF Adversary units...sort of like the F-21 but not on loan and without all the unfortunate financial tricks that surrounded that operation.

1/72 D.510 painted all white and pulling a large banner labled "The Life of Brian!"

Etc.

Wooksta, I missed that one completely.

Daryl----off to search this website out a little bit better.

There is one going on ARC atm though - whiffs allowed!

Or as RAF gunship in Malaya and/or Borneo ?

Will A Model do a 1/144 one after the Manchester/Lancaster/Linncoln ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nev,

You bring good news!  Although yours truely knew of the Airfix/Heller GB on ARC, I didn't know whiffery was included.   I think it's time the USMC got some recon Spitfires.   I love Gloss Sea Blue about as much as BdB loves Spats.

This thread here was intended to be principally an idea-generation thread for us all, but since it's well handled elsewhere I'm quite content to let the thread out to pasture.   B)

Unless there are those who wish to continue.
