When posting pictures of my work on HS I have come to expect the worst and hope for kind responses, for about a year now it has been mostly civil at the HS forum, most of the trolls seem to have found other places to haunt.

I have not posted in any forum but in this. But I used to go to a local shop, here in Madrid, where a lot of pseudomodelers speak a lot about accuracy, units, camo colours, numerals, and so on... None of them actualy make models.

When I make factual models I try to be accurate, but I also try to make a beauty. That is the point. That is why I joined this site: to be free to make whatever I want to get something cool. Something I like.

I have more fun making whiffs than models of 'real' aircraft lately and part of the fun is having total feedom in choosing colors and markings that I like and would seem plausible if the aircraft was really built and in service, and I think it is good for the whiff movement to show our models on other sites such as HS and maybe others will take an interest in what we do and join us.
My choice of using ''V'' for my avatar is because he was a freedom fighter and if he built models he would surely have made whiffs and rebelled against the opressive ''rules'' some of the aircraft experts insist EVERYBODY must follow when making a model of a 'real' aircraft and share their work on HS.

Funny thing about those people that complain about how accurate other peoples models are, you never (or rarely) see their work. I bet their models are no better or anymore accurate than the ones they are complaining about!
