Here's the Mirage 4000 armed to the teeth! I've amassed a pile of Magic and Super 530...but nothing compared to the "real" 4000 which could carried up to 14 AAM!

This one is an hybrid. The cockpit is from my very first model, a (now dismantled) Revell  F-104 (I had'nt chose an easy kit to start). the wings are made of card, as the canards and fuselage (paper)
Decals from Heller Rafale A, canopy from a F-15, nosecone from a MiG-23.
It took some years and various rebuilds to obtain this result. But I really wanted the 4000, and I discovered Anigrand model much too late...

Congratulations for such a great scratch-building.
There is a commercial kit ^_^  ( http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=ANIG7240 ) but probably too expensive for the poor young modeller...

I know the anigrand kit!!! I saw it too late, my 4000 has just become "acceptable" at the time...well I discovered anigrand in march of this year, thanks to you, guys!!
