I just thought I'd advise you guys of my return to plastic, and what form it shall take.

You may have noticed (or even contributed) to my plea for certain kits in the Swap Shop. If any of you have heard of Warbirds Over Wanaka, most of those kits requested will sound familiar.

My ambition: to produce all the main aircraft* of Sir Tim Wallis' Alpine Fighter Collection, as it was on January 1, 1996, in 1:72. This means two Spitfires (XVI and XIV), a P-51D, Ki.43, Zero replica, TBM, P-40K, F4U-1A, DH Fox Moth, Yak-3 and Polikarpov I-16.

So far, the Mustang, Hurricane (which was actually completed in 2000) and the first Ishak have been completed.

As this is a whiff forum (obviously) I've decided against posting any pics of this project bar in my sig, so if you'd like to hear updates and perhaps see pics, just email or PM me.

Cheers,
Zac

Sisko
