1/72 parts questions for whiff planes

The Zvezda ANT-5 has a very poor representation of a single bank radial engine.  Who makes a decent resin radial?

Also, are there aftermarket props such as 3 blade metal and 4 blade wood (or metal) tractor props?   If so, who makes decent ones?     In the past, everything in the collection has been 1/48 so I'm very unfamiliar with what's out there or what's good.

I've got a corrugated group build under way and am planning on integrating them into the pirate ideas put forth elsewhere on this site.   There's a Junkers D.1 from Roden, Eduard's Junkers J.1, Revell's Junkers F.13, the Tupolev ANT-5 from Zvezda, and the ex-ICM I-1 (I-400b) from Maquette.    Some are slated to have floats, some not; some on the ''good'' side and some on the ''bad''.  Some are to have floats, some not.   The ANT-5 can be either bi-plane or parasol.   The Eduard kit slated to become a parasol.   Some in pirate markings, others in US Coast Guard (or the like) regalia.    Blending ideas from the US Harley Chopper movement, departements of public safety, treasure hunters, innocence, mayhem, and possibly a bit of bootlegging should make for some unique kits.

Rambling aside, since the Zvesda kit and Eduard kit were a bargain price I bought 4 ANT-5's, 4 I-1's, and 2 J.1's.   I'd like the ANT-5 to get a new engine for one version, the I-1 to get a 3-blade prop, and the J.1 to get a 4-blade wood tractor prop.   Kit modifications are still tentative, but the engine and prop changes would sure help.

Thanks for the help,
Daryl J.

There's actually a guy right here in Edmonton (St. Albert, really) who does all sorts of resin aftermarket goodies.  100's of engines.

Engines n Things, I believe it's called.  I met him at that recent local model show.
I'll see if I still have his link.

Edit:
Can't find it and it's not on Tony Matteliano's fantastic modeling links website.
But I know they exist and I've seen their extensive pricelist.

Anyone...?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Aeroclub are always useful for "bits & bobs"

George has helped me out on a number of occasions.  If you want to see his products, Roll Models and Great Models Webstore stock his items.

Thank-you.

Off to Rollmodels for some Bristol Jupiters from Engines'n'Things.  And, if I can ever figure out how to navigate the Aeroclub site, John'll get some business too.

I'd go Aeroclub before Engines & Things..they tend to be rather poorly cast.

I find the Aeroclub site easy, on the home page in the left hand frame click on "Browse Products" then in the right column of the returned page click on "Aeroclub 1/72 Engines".

Thanks, JCF for the advice on both product and website.

Yer welcome.
Any plans on coming up Seattle way for the MoF February display or IPMS Spring show? I wasn't able to make McMinnville this year.

Cheers, Jon

JCF, I'm hoping to weather and kids permitting.   The above mentioned projects are what will be happening this winter, along with a pirate craft of some sort, and a Da Vinci plane.
