Hate to say it, but how about a racing plane. Small bubble canopy, single seater. Bright blue and yellow paint!

Add wings from a F-104G, and a Me-163 rocket motor in the tail :)
FSW a la Ju-287 would be cool. Or why not a mix of turboprop (for long loiter patroll) and rocket boost ?
Oh, another idea... add two Me-262 engine in the same position as te XB-51
(or Me-1091)  Ie under the side of the cockpit...
There's also the pusher option (just for the fun)
You can put it on floats, to intercepts Sunderlands, Liberators and the like after a catapulted launch from a heavy cruiser.  :wacko:  :blink:

Very late post but the rocket launcher you spoke about for the Me210/410 is in 1/72 by Schatton Modelbau avialable from LoneWulf in the UK
It's not bad but if you want to show it off properly it needs a little detailing done on the launch revolver
