Martian Fighter Update

Well it's been way too long since I've got to play so I decided I'd take a vacation day today to work on kits I haven't touched in quite a while. First up is my Martian fighter "The Ghost".

Some of you may remember this one from a while back. I've decided that the triple tail was a bit much even though I kinda liked it, it seemed a bit excessive.
Here is a reminder pic.




I did a little filling and streamlining, added small fins where the other tail fins were, and removed most of the back end. Also adding a bit to the wingtips.



Still have some work to do on this but I feel like I'm getting somewhere on what used to be one of the dreaded stalled projects.

Nice concept coming along there, too.   ^_^

Me too. I think that the point is that Tornado's tail fin is always a very nice addition

Glad to see you're working on this again!  When I first read about this project waaaay back it inspired me to build my Martian models.

I like the single fin/cool wingtip version best. :wub:  
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I agree. It gives it a nice exo-atmospheric look.
