the next one is the idea to make the skyrider something longer and with an upper remote controled turret...
the turret was made from a resin stick casted in  paper rolled to adequate diameter, then sanded and some engraved lines was added.
the fuselage was lenghtened and with the grey 3mm forex plates the place was closed and sanded in shape...
the cowling was changed to the lenght of PW 4360-59W engine.
instead the under wing configuration it will be installed a mid wing made from
schratch from forex too.
maybe a contra rotating prop will be installed...

Didn't one of the prototype designs in the evolution that led to the Skyraider have a remotely-operated turret?  Ah, yes, after checking references, 'twas the XSB2D-1.  Though it only had a R3350.  It's stable-mate, the XTB2D-1 did, however, have a R4360 with contra-rotating four-bladed props.

Thinking though.......why not a T-tail and remote controlled barbettes like on the Me410 on either side of the fuselage?
Or an underside twin barbette for ground attack? Something to "keep their heads down" as the Skyrider flies away?

Radish...I was thinking about that but!...the tail surfaces on the skyrider are higher as by the Me410...the defence field for the guns would be much smaller in the high.
the turret made by me is a small one which will include only one .50cal gun like on the avenger...
