Not much whif in this model: only side skirts and, perhaps, camo scheme...

Well, I love MERDC schemes and this was defined, but I have not seen any US tank wearing this scheme. I can see two different backhistories:

1) In early '80s US Army begins an intervention against Iran Revolution and Soviet invaders of Afganistan. This scheme would be ideal for northern Afghanistan.

2) Specially for NARSES2. After the end of Cold War US DoD offers their M60-A3, stationed in Germany, at bargain prices (this was true). Then Carthage buys 1.500, painted in standard winter MERDC camo (field drab, forest green, sand, black), M60. Hannibal take them to fight against Roman Republic in Spanish lands with success. He conducts his army North, crosses Pyrenees and in September arrives Rhône river. There, the M60s are overpainted (only white over forest green) in preparation for their Epic Ride to cross the Alps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Punic_War B)

I really love the idea of Hannibal as an armour commander. ^_^

Hannibal + Tanks =  B) FTW. So, would the Romans use Breda OF-40s or stoop to buying Leopard Is from Germania and M60s from the duplicitous US?

Wow, I've set up that first pic of yours as my new desktop wallpaper.

Beeeeeeyutiful job all around, from the very cool camo to the weathering and grunge!
