Nice read!

Does the real aircraft actually have that off-set cockpit/canopy or was that a Zac-embellishment???

Nice!

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

No waaaaaaaaaaaaay.   That's bizarre.  Will have to search for a "walkaround" pictorial set.

Amazing!

Great looking model and cool story. What I really like Zac, is how your paint work (especially on this one) has a faded look, to me anyway. I don't know if it's intentional or a product of the photography, but I like the effect. Great work! B)

Thanks very muchly all for your kind comments. Were it not for your encouragement, I doubt I'd still be doing this.

Nah, who am I kidding? I feel too good after building 'em to not do it! :P

Mr Miller - I just don't know! Three coats of Tamiya matt acrylic, no undercoat, and it always turns out like this! Same with the TSR, Strikemaster, Mirage, Hunter et al. JA Green, German Grey and Flat Green.

Baz - nutsy, huh? I was thinking of adding into the backstory the idea of adventure flights in this puppy, but hell, there's not enough room for your average warbird enthusiast in the nav's cavern!

Gary - think Nike and Just Do It! It's a rewarding build if you put some effort into it, ie PSR. Doing the cockpit was very satisfying. If not, I'd still love to do a DH.110 John Derry tribute model.................

Seavixen - as soon as I finished this I thought I'd better let you know. Being such a big fan of this foxy number I knew you'd hate to miss it. Hope I did you proud!

Everyone else - you're far too kind, but your words mean much to me. Thank you.

BTW on the subject of Zac The Reporter, I've been accepted into an (extramural) National Diploma in Journalism course for next year. Due to my experience at the local paper and radio stations apparently I was a shoe-in!
