As mentioned earlier here, this project has been laying dormant for going on nearly 3 years or so:



What it looked like before I *started*, note the intake mounts for the winglets, the new IRST & 37mm cannon in the nose and the AL-31 in the rear.
After making all the formalities when I got home, I pulled this bird out and started work. I also took the oppertunity to test my shiney new Cannon S3IS that I got for xmas, tell me what y'all think:

Topside, Got the putty wittled down on the IRST & the 37mm cannon, and added a piece of strip to make a spine (fair-in the AL-31 a bit better)

Ah, the cannon looks intimidating!  Great work and perseverance so far---keep at her!
