I noticed they also will be releasing the SF game Airfix pushed out last year.  Does this mean there is still a link?

QuoteIf only they could produce a 1/72 scale Vautour, they would be definitively saved(well, there's some demand for such a model, and plenty of things to do with it).
But most important thing is they are alive...
Azur should have that out early next year Archie, They and Special Hobby are doing a joint production to cover three of the main variants.

There is a rare kit of the 1/72 Vautour by one of the smaller French producers as a couple of the guy mind to find some last year at Telford (none this year i checked :( ).

Cheers

Cool! Thank you for the info! Azur is one of the submarks from Hannatns no ? I'd seen they had a Vautour in their "future release". So I'd asked them and they answered me that the date was not fixed... now it is. hourra!!!! Give me five vautours please...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

I have one thanks to Thor - nice kit
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Great to know it!!
Heller has a lot of interesting lines, and very well prized.

QuoteYa mean the UH-72A?

Funny how the announcement of the UH-145 winning the LUH contest mentioned the service designation but it seems that part got left out of the bulk of the news services stories.

Well, actually, they want to release the UH-145 demonstrator...

It's our job to transform it into UH-72 ;)

It could be a very good idea to re-release the Mirage 2000N in 1/48 and I think that Heller already had a 1/72 Vautour IIN long time ago, don't they?

I think it was in their 1/96 or 1/100 scale range Pollux

They had another Vautour, I do not know version, in their very very very old line, 1/50.

I remember now : aerofile!!!

JC Carbonel

Aerophile was a short-lived brand from José Fernandez , using mostly Heller bases.
THe 1/72 Vautour was issued by Mach. I think Mach issued two kits (Vatour and maybe Alizé) and folded. THen Pallix bought the name but not the tooling to launch Mach2.

Heller is confident to get investors to back up its programm but remains comprehensibly tight-lipped until a deal is struck

Thanks for you encyclopedic knowledge, JC! I like your website, full of interesting articles (I remember the article on the J-58   )

So does this mean that Humbrol/Hornby have renounced their ownership of the moulds that weren't sold to the MBO?
It's not an effing  jump jet.

Archibald

So, Airfix had been saved by Hornby, very well. It seems that Heller won't sink, too... but what about Humbrol ? is it linked to hornby, too ?
