 3500 dollars ? roughly the same amount of euros... just imagine this thing in your garden (much more interesting than Dwarves, Frogs and the like)
Seriously, this thing has to go into a museum
(I'm quite sure the Polish ar force has its own museum, you know the one with the last surviving PZL P.11)

French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

At 3,500 US it won't be available much longer.

Shipping must be a bitch though.....

As long as it is wooden mock-up only, there is no place for it in PAF museum in Cracow, I'm affraid.  It must be at least a prototype :(

Archibald

That's sad, really!  :(
Well maybe some american museum (or the sinsheim museum near Frankfurt..hell, they already have a  Concorde along a Tu-144, but also the russian counterpart of the OV-101 Enterprise  (the buran analog fitted with four turbojets) )

QuoteWTF is that!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
In the early 90s, PZL developed a series of designs for a lightweight ground attack fighter, similar in concept, if not in execution, to the BAe SABA types.  I personally prefer the earlier version, which featured podded turbofans, a la the A-10, mounted above a stealthy F-22-ish fuselage and wing.  In lieu of an internal gun, GE was to have provided a podded GAU-12 on the centerline.  Alas, in the end, the whole project was scrubbed and Poland bought F-16s.

AHA!  The text is all in Polish, which I don't read, but there are some images here of the original version:

PZL 230 Skorpion

From an article on Wikipedia, I got this information: the aircraft was designed at PZL independently of the Polish government, with an eye toward replacing aging Soviet aircraft in Polish service, as well as making it available for the export market.  The original specs were for an aircraft with STOL capability (takeoff in 250m) and a 2000kg offensive load.  The Polish military gave the project the go-ahead in 1993, but revised the requirement to incorporate a 4000kg load.  PZL produced the 230F design, which was the basis for the mockup that's being sold.  Then the program was axed in 1994.

If someone can pull the line drawings out of the background, they might be good for profiles.
