Brilliant now thats modelling I admire, someone who manages to think creatively, shame about that one JMN response about the base not being finished "properly"

even more so if the culprit is a member of the corps. or the RAF for that matter. as most wing field day events are held on RAF stations.

Lovely dio, subject brings a tear to my eye!  To be fair to the 'JMN', he otherwise enthused about it & he seems to be judging it from the very top level, which it's worthy of.  If it was entered into a top notch competition, this is the kind of thing that would just knock a model of winning.  Otherwise, yes, it's picky!

It reminds of pictures I've seen of a Lightning that was left on some wasteland (near Birmingham IIRC).  It had been graffitied, vandalised, broken bottles & crap strewn around it & it had been set on fire on more than one occasion.  Terrible waste, but it'd make a nice diorama in the style of that Vulcan.

That Lightning is no were near brum, try the A1 just south of Newark. For the state she's in, scrapping her would be a mercy killing.
