A Japanese company, Takara, are selling a 1/144 T2 kit.  Super detailed, over 21" & $380!!!  I'll have five then, & sell the bed!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ok, 72nd scale would be just over 42".  That's shorter than the new Gato by 10".  Course, a little wider but...

I've seen a pic of two T2's done in RAF colours, the original in sixties Transport Command colours & the movie version in up to date C-17 colours.  I think it was from Telford 2005, was this one of you guys???

Wait a minute, found the pic:

PS, the movie version just isn't as good, is it?

Right the original version was done by TSRjoe and the upto date one was by me. Joe did his one many moons ago, and once i spotted the small TB2 toys in Tescos for the film, it just had to be done.

OK Thunderbird fans, I'm going to ask a question which has probably been asked hundreds of times before (but I can't find the answer here).  What does F.A.B. stand for.

Ever since I used to watch Thunderbirds many, many years ago    B)   I have always wondered what it means.  :dum:

Cheers,  Robert
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Nobody knows!  Gerry Anderson & co just chose it as a play on the word fab, which was, err, fab in the sixties.  So as to what it means to the individuals of International Rescue, you can make up your own version & be as rude as you like!

Ah, thought it might it have something to do with the comment above!  Good work guys, nice comparison.  Oh, when I said "PS, the movie version just isn't as good, is it?"  I meant the movie itself & the new Thunderbirds craft, not the build!

Mossie, taking foot out of mouth!
