The Red International Air Divisions acquired the Beagle in 1951, their first action being during the July 1951 Big Red Offensive in Korea. This offensive ended the stalemate that had settled over the war torn peninsula for the past six months. With the North Koreans now aided by Chinese Maoist, Socialist Union and International forces, the United Nations was driven back to a dozen or so islands off the southern coast.

KHM-M "Beagle", Blue 08, 436th International Air Division, Sondok Air Base, 4th July, 1951
Target: Pusan Harbour
Crew: Sean McKillop (pilot, Irish), Dexter Harvey (navigator/borbardier, American), Brian Maher (tail gunner, Australian)

Using torpedoes and rockets in a daring night time attack on Pusan Harbor, this crew was credited with the sinking of the cruiser USS Juneau (CL 119).

Point of interest: The International's red star featured a black dot at its centre.

Whatever.

Comrade Harps,

Let me be the first to extend my fraternal socialist greetings.  Your exemplary work is a tribute to the proletariat's capacity for industrial ingenuity.

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Ian the Kiwi Herder
