The true test of a build like this ,to me, is if you can set on a table and have someone believe it was the real deal. This fits to a T. Another kick donkey creation BdaB! Bravo Zulu!! B)

It's actually our GLORIOUS leader....And he was honoured as such at the set up session at Telford this year...

Very believable, interesting-yet-understated: definitely classy.  Wish I had thought of it.  Nice clean build, too.

You make me sick!   :P     Adding insult to injury, I have found out since seeing your great little Hawkinge model that I positively suck at knitting, too, btw.   <_<

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I'm sure the cold war would have been won earlier if those awe-inspiring, shock-inducing Spats were sported by every alliance fighter. It looks KICK_SS, Brian!!! Bravo Zulu!!!

The Spatman strike again! Very nice  :)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Thanks for the feedback and the tips gents! I'm glad you guys enjoy my little spatted projects. Being into Inter-War stuff, I don't find many folks who appreciate that era.

Leigh, I will keep your tip about Future in mind the next time I have decal trouble.

Mr Howling Mouse, do not dispair. I suck at knitting too. Ditto macrame. That's why I say I'll be taking up mudpies when I see work that just amazes me.

I'm not sure what's next, but I have a 1/72 Airfix Hurricane that keeps "whispering" to me. Yes I'm thinking spats...also an engine swap and possibly a night-fighter scheme. I picked up a very dark shade of gray paint this weekend for that very purpose. Stay tuned.
