Took the wind right out of my sails

For the last couple of weeks I've been all excited about starting a new Eurofighter whif. I've got tons of pics, I have it as my PC wallpaper at home (a Mirage 2000 at work), I've got a model for FS2004, I've been watching videos, etc.

So I _finally_ get the MiG whif just about done and leave it to dry and crack open the Typhoon box (Airfix) and start gathering everything that needs to be white for a all-at-one-shot painting session. That's when I realize that the &*(#^@*@@ intake is missing. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!  

Considering Airfix's present situation I don't expect I'll get a replacement part any time soon.

I'm so torqued I could chew on a Starfix kit ...

I'm gonna go 'sim & simmer now

look on the bright side.......all those bits to be wiffed with.

I bet everyone here has had a similar experience with one kit. Mine was a Hasegawa Skyhawk.....bought it in Yokohama.....no chance of taking that back to the shop.

I'm told that Airfix's parts lady Rita is back in her old job and that replacement parts are available once again.
