I've seen the He-162 on display at the Chino Planes of Fame museum up close (it's a surviving original) and yours looks spot on. It probably looks better, since other than a few spots on the rudder (which expose the wood underneath) the Chino plane is relatively clean.

Dork the kit slayer

Thanks Jeff, Sisko, Frank, Dork, and Ian!

Sisko,
This is a wonderful kit with no real problems in building it, the only possible problem with the kit is the decals. I used EagleCals on my model instead of the kit decals, other kits I have built in the past I tried using the kits decals and got poor results so I almost always use aftermarket decal sheets. Oh yeah, add plenty of weight to the nose, I almost ended up with a tail sitter even though I thought I had more than enough weight up front.

Frank,
You are lucky, I would almost kill to see a real He 162!

Ian,
Sorry about the lack of pictures...this weekend in my part of the world it is expected to rain so it might be two weeks before I can take any new pics. :(
Looks like all my time will be spent building/painting new stuff next weekend...which is a good thing! :)

Thanks Rafa!

The He 162 sure has a ''what-if'' look to it for a real airplane, same goes for the Do 335 and Me 163. I might do the twin cockpit of the version of the Me 163 later this year if I have time for it.

It is perefect
The Volksjager has a lot of whif potential: swept wings, two engines, ...
Will die without understanding this world.

Thanks ysi_maniac!

I have started another Revell He 162, this one will be in what-if markings. This model should be finished sometime next spring because I have three other projects in the works right now that I want to finish first.

The weather is expected to clear up by next weekend so maybe I can take more pictures of my new models. :D
Watch this forum next Sunday for the new pics.
