Fellas (& fellettes),

I need some "A&AAE Boscombe Down" decals for an upcomming Raspberry Ripple project, but cant find appropriate decals anywhere.  I'm thinking of doing homemade ones for the lettering and wondered if anyone has tried making decals by putting dry transfers onto clear decal film?  Does this work or is it not worth trying?

Thanks from anyone with insight!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Let's see.  The first time I tried that (successfully, I might add) was in, oh, about 1977 or so :)  So yes, it works just fine.

You're looking for DIN 1451 Mittelschrift for the font.  If you can't find it, I have it on my computer.  If you know someone with a laser printer who can do it for you, I can send you a high-res JPEG of it.  Just tell me the size you need.
