Here's some pics of the Trumpeter KV-1 765® tank There was one captured KV-1 tank that was rearmed with a German Kwk L/43 75mm cannon and used by the 21st panzer division Mine will be in markings of the 5th panzer division,31st panzer regiment Panzer gray as base coat I may add some winter white camo

Trumpeter, 1/35th scale injection molded plastic with a possibility of photo-etch detail parts included in the kit.  Nice kits when you can find them and the prices are usually lower than Tamiya kits.

Ummm, Good!!!
It's always a refresher to have other models than aircraft here.

Maybe I can put together one of my 1/72 tanks in the future...

Thanks Jeffry

I think a company called PST makes a 1/76 version of this tank I didn't use any PE on this kit The tow cables are a soft copper that come with the kit Only "AM" stuff I am using are some markings and I added a jack and wood block from the Tamiya panzer IV equipment set These Trumpeter KV kits build very nicely

GZ,

Killer 756 there, i'm thinking of grabbing the 754® instead, i've always loved the KV-2 over the -1 but don't model Russian stuff as a rule, so both these caught my eye.

Oh & Raf, this isn't a whiff, although it sounds it.  The Germans actually used quite a few captured KVs as the Russians did in reply using captured StuGs

Looking forward to more pics, and may I say  on that job with the tracks...perfect !

Radish

Yes, not a whiff.
The Germans used a lot of captured equipment and modified it accordingly.
A friend converted a Tamiya KV-1 into a German thingy....looks good I must admit.

Now then, imagine a Soviet T-54 in German markings, from a Wehrmacht '55 idea

I've heard a lot of good things about that Trumpeter KV-1.  And at £13 you can't go wrong!
