What a splendid group of modelers!  We met up at Jim's, and traded shop notes for quite a while before disbanding into the cold afternoon. Some really stellar work from these guys, this pic does no justice:

The models were of fantastic quality in finish, but we were somewhat cramped, so pics were tough.  A lot of information was exchanged, and I learned quite a lot...I am sure that next time I will take the correct lens.

Looks like some nice builds there.
We don't have a dedicated sci fi club in SLC but there are a few of us who make them.
One of our guys is pretty good.
