Hmmm...what's the story behind this build?  Why the Tuesday deadline?  Sounds interesting.

It actually sounds as if Wolfik and I might be working on the same project...is your deadline next week also?

NDA, so I won't be posting the final pics, but I will be doing a write up of the build...an interesting kit.  Like most car kits, the engineering is scary it is so perfect, but the molding leaves a lot to be desired.  Give me Tamiya any day of the week !

cthulhu77

Whoa...the top is no where near as well designed as the undercarriage...lots of test fitting on this one!

Ian the Kiwi Herder

I built one of them not long after they came out. Really enjoyed it - a two weekend project from opeing the box to final matt coat.

Keep the photos coming, Greg

Confuscious (maybe)

I'd swear the hood shown in your pic was a photoshopped cut-out from an overhead pic of the real thing, Greg.

Museum quality.

Thanks...if anyone out there wants to build a nice HMMWV, though, buy the Tamiya kit. This Italeri thing has more mistakes on it than you can believe!  Anyway, it was what was available for a quick build. Here we see the top sans gun...not even seperate doors  :dum:  :

Your paintwork on this is masterful! I love you approach to weathering. I think you've captured the look perfectly! Greg, it seems everything you touch becomes a work of art.

Greg, That is a beautiful looking Hummer. Very realistic!!!

It should be exposed sitting on a mirrored surface to enjoy the work you've done on the belly side

Thanks guys, and ST, I got mine.  :)
Unfortunately, I did not get the contract...which is a big bummer.  Will post more pics and then there will be a review on mm later.  The whatif one will be modified more, so as to avoid any trouble, and then posted here too.

  Help ! I need work !
