What if the RN had stayed in the big carrier business?

Look, no nozzles!

With a pen for scale. It's huge.

AB nozzle donated from a Tamiya 1/32 F-15E

That, Simon, is a beautiful airplane!!!

The RN scheme has always been a striking sight. The bulge in front of the intakes (shock wave guides?) are a touch of personality.

All in all, a marvelous subject, specially after watching the building process.

Wow that's a great looking build, Simon! Those RN colors are very eye-catching. I also like your work on the burner can.

Outstanding work as usual, but there's nothing usual about this plane. It's one of those ones that you wished had been real! B) Bravo Zulu!

Beautiful work Simon! Such an interesting concept and wonderfully executed. The paintscheme really makes her stand out, well done.

Wow ! That is one sweet looking bird ! I think I'm in love ! I may have to try that myself....only somewhat smaller. Love the colours, and it just looks so sleek and sexy without the nozzles and stores.

What kit is it ? That giant Airfix one ? I'd also like to see some more pics, under the wings, more of the tail area......

Yes, it's the 1/24 Airfix kit and it's a swine. There was a lot more I wanted to do with it, but this has already had 3 months of my life and the deadline for the GB was approaching...

As Eddy said...  :o

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
