I went home for lunch, and all I could think about was glue and plastic ! After like a month of no motivation, I had it bad !

So I got all my stuff out and ready to start on a Tucano after work. I was picking the kiddies up from school and therefore getting off work early.

The school buses were cancelled due to the weather. That's where the problem started. I bumped into a buddy of mine ( who's daughter is in my daughters class and who's son is in my son's class ) picking up his kids as well. After shooting the breeze for a few minutes, one thing led to another and next thing you know we're back at my place getting drunk.

Dammit.

Now I've got a zillion things to do this weekend, so no modelling for me, and I'm afraid the motivation might be gone with it......

Damn beer.

Was it at least good beer?
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Oh, great beer ! Innis and Gunn, some Hobgobblin, and some Abbott. Not to thrilled with the Abbott, but not too bad. Also had a few Steamwhistle, which is from a small brewery in Toronto at the old locomotive roundhouse beneath the CN Tower.

We also ate some mac's Chiccarones.

I like to do both, then add in chemicals.  Makes for some interesting moments in modeling.

Believe it or not, I'm down to spending maybe three hours in the last two weeks at the modeling bench.  It's one of those where, even when I'm home, I don't have the time to hammer out a paintjob or assemble a kit.  Plus I've been turning in earlier and earlier, so no more late night modeling before bed for me.

I'm building today, but I have to admit, I'm really fighting it ! The paints I bought ( for brushing ) are all duds......Testors quality really ticks me off. You'll buy one grey or green, and it'll be perfect. the next one will be dark, or to thin......sheesh !

Mind you, the beer is tasting good, so that might help for the rest of the night !

;)

Anthony, get that passport so you can come over here and relieve some stress this summer, eh ?
