In 1947-48 a Yugoslav delegation ordered a number of Avia S-92 (Me-262) which weren´t delivered due to changes in the political situation. Let us assume that the Comintern affair had erupted a year later so that these aircraft had been delivered.

How well would the S-92 fare against in border clashes against the neighbouring states MiG-9 and Yak-23 ?

It's the man, not the machine. Probably well considering the Mig-9/Yak-23 weren't the greatest performers.

Anyways where than any actual 'border clashes' between Yugoslavia and Uncle Joe support regeims of the Warsaw Pact?

This means they probably wouldn't have received some American aircraft like the F-84.
"They stand in the unbroken line of patriots who have dared to die that freedom might live, and grow, and increase its blessings. Freedom lives, and through it, they live–
in a way that humbles the undertakings of most men."

- Franklin D. Roosevelt

The F-84s weren´t delivered until much later, the first MDAP deliveries were F-47 and Mosquitos. There weren´t any serious clashes but gunfire was exchanged frequently during ´48-´50 especially along the Hungarian and Bulgarian borders.

QuoteMiG-9 and Yak-23 ?

Su-9 would have been better (not the supersonic interceptor, its forerunner).  ;)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

That would require a second what if, that the Su-9 (I) went in to production.

I know that. Just mentionned it because it was a clone of the 262  ;)
