Someone here said that their fantastic N/AV-10 2-seat Warthog was "based on the Monogram"  (if it was, Hobby Boss must have still re-tooled the entire pattern as surface detail is far superior to the Mono).

Now, is their Rafale a reboxing of another mfg's (i.e. Revell)?

Its probably a 15% change on the Revel Rafale so it can past muster on copy right infringment.

Looks like I'll be able to own one without having to play the E-Blah game :D
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

As y'all know, I built the RoG one recently - Scooterdude built two - looks VERY familier to me, not saying any more than that without a lawyer present !

I second Ian's opinions!  Still not a bad price either.  PERFECT for whiffing!

I got mine in the mail today from luckymodel.com.

At first look very nice.As has been previously stated it's VERY similar to the Revell kit in the way a lot of the parts are broken down but there are changes too.The Hobbyboss kit has positionable flaps/rudder which weren't there on the RoG kit.(BTW Hannants have the Airwaves MK16 ejection seat back out too.)The IR sensors and position lights are moulded in plastic on this kit while the RoG kit has them separate.Decals are for the all black demonstrator but Skyraider Models have a sheet with markings for a production C.The only thing I'm disappointed with is the lack of chaff/flare dispensors on the upper fuselage hopefully the forthcoming aftermarket set from Skyraider Models will work on this kit too.

The Mirage IIIs are very similar to the Eduard kits. I suspect the Hobbyboss design team, rather like some films is 'inspired by an original idea from...'.

I think I read somewhere that the A-10 and A-10 N/AW are meant to be scaled down Trumpeter kits rather than Monogram.
