Considering I did the decals for that kit (and the upcoming second decal sheet for it), I'd say I fall firmly into the "HELL YES!" camp :)

I sure wish Monogram had tooled one of those right about the time they did the Rafale and F-15E......... :(  :(  :(

There was this kid at our hobby club meeting a few years back who knew the owner of 'Furias' and he held everyone's attention for some time working his way verbally through that airframe.   Everyone loved Sea Furies after that speil.  :P

Sea Furies are sexy beasts to be sure!  Got a funny feeling those Fisher kits won't be too prevalent at most club meets tho!  One question, what are the major differences between the Sea Fury and the Tempest II and Fury?  Excepting of course the seaweed-sucker kit.

The Flying Davidsons have one here in PE that comes out every on and then

Sometimes living near the flight path to the airport isn't so bad :P

Hobby Crap has announced (and apparently shown, but no photos allowed) a 1/32 Sea Fury.  Nobody seems to know if Trumpeter has anything to do with it.  They (HC) have promised Paul Fisher a copy of the kit as soon as available so he can market his detail bits separately for it (and re-engineer them as necessary to fit it).

I know the Fisher kit is big and expensive, but speaking as someone with virtually no interest in really big kits, it's really and truly worth every dime (Euro, whatever) he's charging for it.  And those of you in the UK are effectively getting a 50% discount on it by virtue of the really crappy (for us) exchange rate against the Pound right now.

If you have the slightest interest in a big Sea Fury, get this kit.  I can't possibly imagine HC doing a better (or as good) job on theirs as Paul has done on this one.

And wait until you see what he has up his sleeve next for 1/32!! :) :) :)

I remember borrowing 'Typhoon and Tempest at War' from the library and seeing a picture of the Tempest mk.1 and nearly wetting myself. What a superb looking aircraft.

Anyway, back on topic this Sea Fury build is awesome. I'm totally gobsmacked by it!
