Severely Worn Monogram Mould

In order to participate, I ordered a couple of Revell-issue 1/48 Monogram Tiger Sharks.   The mould for this particular Chinese pressing was so worn that nothing fits well enough to build as a P-40 without a huge time component-shimming, re-edging, expanding, and the like.


That sounds like opportunity to me!  

So, rather than a P-40 meets Custom Paint, it will have to be P-40 meets Hayao Miyazaki-esque thought.
