Hey all:

Looks like Valom just put out their 2007/2008 release list and looks like a bit of good whiffing fodder could be coming at us.

http://www.hyperscale.com/reviews/kits/val...previewbg_1.htm

On the non whiff side, it looks like they have a 1/72 Brostol Brigand in the works for 2007! :wub:  I was pretty siure that would be the territory of CMK or Planet Models and be way out of my financial allocations for models.

Also looks like a Fisher P-57 Eagle is coming down the pipe too, lots of good whiffs there.

Lets hope most of whats on their list will materialize and not suffer any delays.

They've gone Bristol crazy haven't they?  An injection Buckmaster???  Blimey!  What with an XP-75, two Airacuda's & a Polikarpov TIS, they're spoiling us with all those prototypes!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've got a vacform Brigand and Bombay....perhaps I won't attempt them just yet. I just paid nearly £30 for the Sanger Bombay, which to my untutored eye seems no better than an old Contrail-despite being told by the manufacturer that it is all new and much better than the Contrail version. Hooray for Valom!

Finally a company that is willing to do some prototypes and lesser known birds in injection kits instead of vacum formed.

It's nice to see the Bristol's but I've had the P-75 and the Airacuda pre-ordered since 2005 I think, so don't hold your breath (yes I know it say's 2008). However they have brought out kits that wern't pre-advertised (Yak 7 & Devastator float plane) so anythings possible.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I can see a number of things being done with the Brigand;

Turboprops

Large gun packs under the nose

Griffon engines

Single tail (T-tail for Baz!)

QuoteIt's nice to see the Bristol's...
Especially if they're attached to someone who can cook.  :P
