Looks Interesting Mike have you had chance to have a decent look yet a determine if its worth buying ? If so i might have to send you another cheque !!!

well I did buy a copy straight away so I thought it was pretty good. Lots of B&W pics and some colour illustrations of most of the a/c too, no line drawings though.

There's a fair bit in there which I haven't seen before (but I must say I'm not too clued up on such things), the best thing about it is that it covers a nice range of a/c in quite a bit of detail, so don't expect half the book to be filled with TSR2 (6 pages at the back), but what it does have is info on things I'd never heard of (Avro Ashton, Short Sherpa etc).

But it doesn't really cover the in service What If? aspect, concentrating on the experimental/development side of things.

All in all it's definately worth a look

It sure does look ( and sound ) like a good book.....you Brits have all the fun :wub:

Too bad about having no line drawings, tho...pity !
