My P-40 For The Gb

Here's the Pics of my Academy P-40M in 1/72 for the "P-40 GB" I dedicated it to Zac, Brian ("Da Basher") Helped me with some Squadron code decals and unintentionally gave me the idea for the hand painted personal markings by refering to Zac as our "Token Kiwi" in a PM while discussing the markings
So I hand painted a lil Kiwi bird to go with the name "Zac Attack!" on the side of the Fuselage below the Pit
The plane was painted with Testors Model Master paints
SAC bomber tan,SAC bomber green,Green Drab on the upper surfaces and RAF Sky type "S" for the underside
First the pre decal& landing gear Pics



The Kiwi is on bolth sides with the name "Zac Attack!" on the left/port side the kiwi is Schocolade brown,white & black

These next pics are with the decals added as well as the landing gear I still need to add the Canopy,landing gear doors,antenna,pitot and exhaust stacks





So Enjoy Gang I'm off for some well deserved sleep (Due to a Vicious case of insomnia I have only gotten about 13 hours sleep in the past 5 days LOL )

Yowsa Panzer, that's one awesome looking P-40! I love that amazing camo scheme and the incredibly cool kiwi and Z*AC codes!
