Odd that you mention that.  There was a rather nicely done F-5 conversion to a land speeder on diplay at the Seattle IPMS show yesterday.

Thinking on this 'mainstream whiffiing' gig, naturally Planet (cool P.87!!), Unicraft and others come to mind.  Revell seem to be willing to take the plunge styrene-wise which is nice for a change.

My thought, how important is the 'aftermarket' accessory line to whiffing?  Aftermarket decals come to mind as critical, but how about the "detail sets" and "correction parts".  Most are prohibitively expensive in comparision to full kits, but sometime have nice parts that would be whiffed effectively, Paragon's Twin Highball Mossie comes to mind.

Thoughts?
