Behold, the RAAF's latest acquisition, the Bede Aircraft Corp F-5 Dingo. Small, light weight, highly agile, and extremely easy and cheap to maintain the acquisition of the Dingo will save Australian tax payers hunderds of millions of dollars in maintenance costs over the next 10 years. Opponents of the aircraft point out that it has no armament nor the ability to carry any, has no hope against Indonesia's Flankers, is really just a big boy toy, and that the name Dingo perpetuates bad Australian stereotypes.  :P

And to think people complain about the F-35's range.  Love it!

I actually had a downpayment on the production version before the enterprise went belly-up. Still would love to get my mitts on the controls! Saw the Silver Bullet perform at Trenton once, the only time I've ever been thankful for the existence of Coors Lite (they sponsored it).

I've longed for a BD-5J ever since seeing Octopussy....I'd have mine painted black and yellow with silver wings, like a bumblebee..... B)

I'd love to go for one of the kits, tho - two reeeeeeeeeally small kits for the price of, well, two oor more normal-sized kits! What a deal!
