As per Mossie's suggestion a few months ago, I have given serious thought to doing my Airfix Defiant as a tankbuster. Means I'll need to pick up a cheap Spitfire with a tropical nose to graft on (I've got a donor kit in mind), and some underwing pods with the 40mm cannons. Does anyone make them in 1/72nd, or will I have to lash them up myself?

Damn! I wish we could edit post titles, I did of course mean IID.

The 1/72 Airfix Hurricane IIB, currently sold as a "Hurricane I/IIB", has a variety of underwing stores, including the anti-tank cannons.

Also Pavla do a 1/72 "Hurricane Upgrade Set" (£4.65 from Hannants in the UK) which includes the cannons

Yeah, just got word about that over on ARC, thanks for confirming! Also was told, and confirmed, that SAM Publications sells them (might they be re-flogging the Pavla set?), and there's also an AML decal set that includes them. Looks like I can put aside the balsa!
