This is the 1/200 Heller garbage.

Oooh I don't know... The nose contours seem a bit dodgy (should look identical to a Comet as they used the same nose), but she looks okay for 1/200th. In fact I think I'll pick one up next time I see one on the shelves, might have some good whiffing possibilities.

3-engined?

Move the wings back and add canards?

OK, take it. It is simple (8 pieces and undercarriage IIRC) and can be done. An area that requires special work is engine's pylons.

BTW I have ordered Heller's 1/100 from hlj

Do you mean you actually scratchbuilt the Tupolev's landing gear at 1:360th scale?

Both are truly fine models, in any scale.  Good work!  The Captain's correct: in order to truly appreciate this work, we should see it with a scale reference (beer bottle cap?) next to it.

Those look very good! I thought they were some of those pre made ones that all you do is stick the wings and display on a stand. Very good indeed! B)
