I put in a few hours at the Museum this past Sunday.  We assumed it wouldn't be too busy that afternoon, what with the NASCAR race and all, and for the first couple of hours, we were right.  I got most of these during that lull.

Piper Navajo

Sikorsky S-76? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I still hear the "Airwolf" theme every time I see one of these - Bell 222

This was actually almost a month ago, during the Wachovia golf tourney.  The cloud cover was so dense it almost merged with the fog, but I managed the snap this of the Goodyear Blimp.

I spotted this one outside work this morning.  Bizjet of some sort.

This one's not an aircraft at all, but it still flies.   :D   Spotted at the Shell station up the street from work - 1990 Ferrari Testarossa.

The Biz-jet is a Embraer E-135 or 145. The X version i think...

Captain Canada

Nice work ! Sure looks like a -76 to me. And I love those Bell 222 types.....just look like a mean chopper ! I might start humming the Airwolf theme myself, only I can't remember it !

On Airwolf.org there's been talks about a new film.  A screenwriter has been asking them about possible settings & about what helicopter would be approprtiate.  Not suprisingly, they shouted 'A BELL 222!', most fans wouldn't except anything else, maybe a Bell 430, but's it that bit bulkier than a 222.  I've always thought that an Augusta A-109 looks similar enough to be an Airwolf rival or a back engineered version.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I always thought the Aerospatiale/Eurocopter Panther would be a much better starting point than a boring ol' Bell 222...
